(Staff/Faculty only) Change your Employee Signature in Gmail
-
To implement the new signature, login to your SFCM email account and click the cog in the upper right hand corner of your in box.
-
Click on Settings within the drop-down menu that appears. This should take you to a page that looks similar to this:
-
Scroll to the bottom of the page until you reach a subsection called Signature.
-
Navigate to https://sfcm.edu/email in a new tab or window. You should be taken to a page that looks like this:
-
With your mouse, highlight the text and logo on this page.
-
Copy this selection (CTRL + C). Go back to the tab or window which contains the previously opened settings page with the signature field for your SFCM account. Click within the text entry field for your signature, if there is already a signature in place remove that signature.
Paste the new signature (CTRL + V) into the signature field of the settings dialogue.
Change the information to your name and title by selecting all the text between the brackets for your name, type your name, and then your title and type your title. After you have typed in your information delete the brackets around your name and title. This ensures that the formatting will stay the same.
You will also need to type in your conservatory phone number in the format of ###.###.####. Type in your number in the same manner the name and title were completed.
-
After you have done so click the "Save Changes" button all the way at the bottom of the page.
Your signature should now automatically match the demo signature in appearance on all
correspondences going forward.
If you have any issues or questions please reach out to trecords@sfcm.edu or it@sfcm.edu.
