Configuring Delegate Access in OWA (Outlook Web App)
Delegate access is a way to give permissions for others to be able to check or access your email and calendar. This can be done in both the Outlook desktop and web app, but we would prefer that permissions be added though the web app. You can login to OWA here: Outlook. Sign in with your Opus 3 email credentials. Once you have signed in, follow the steps to give other Opus 3 users access. (Note: If a user needs full edit/read access to an entire account, or send as permissions, please contact opus3it@sfcm.edu)
Giving Folder Permissions in Outlook Web App
When you open up the OWA, you will be directed to your inbox. To share one of your mail folders, right click the folder and select "permissions".
This brings up the folder permissions dialog box.

This box shows a list of people who have permissions to view the folder. In this case, there's no one in the list yet.
To add users to the permissions list, click the PLUS SIGN (+) at the top left of the dialog box and type in the user's name you are trying to add.

After selecting the user and clicking Add, choose from several predefined permission settings in the drop-down menu, or configure custom permissions.

Once the permissions have been set appropriately, click ok and it should save.
If permissions need to be given to any folder other than the inbox, there's a few more steps. After setting permissions for the folder that needs to be shared, all parent folders and the root folder needs to be shared as well. (Note: The folders tab is being right clicked, not the inbox)

Once that is complete, the shared folder must be added to the account it was shared with. Instructions on adding delegated accounts to another account can be found here.
Giving Calendar Delegation in Outlook Web App
Navigate to the calendar within the Outlook Web App. This can be accessed using the sidebar on the left hand side.

Look at the "My calendars" tab on the left. Hover over the calendar that needs to be shared. Click on the three dots on the right (more options), and select "Sharing and permissions"

This will open up a sharing and permissions box. Type in the email of the user to share the calendar with. If the user does not show up automatically, click on "Search People" to show matching names.

Select the user, and choose what type of permissions the user needs. Once you choose the permissions, click share and the user will get a sharing invitation in email.
