SFCM Online Printing - Uniflow Online Canon copiers and printers
Uniflow Online
We are transitioning from our existing print system (Uniflow) to a new printing system (Uniflow Online). Uniflow Online offers a more stable and feature-rich printing experience for SFCM.
To print from your computer using Uniflow Online, some set up is required.
If you are using an SFCM macOS computer, please reach out to it@sfcm.edu for assistance configuring the new print driver.
If you are using an SFCM Windows computer:
1. Open the Uniflow SmartClient application by searching in the Windows menu. If this application is not on your computer, please restart your machine and log in, and the client will automatically pop-up after about a minute.
2. Log in to the Uniflow SmartClient application by clicking Continue with Entra ID.
3. Once you have successfully logged in to Uniflow SmartClient, be sure to click the Start button to start the driver running on your machine. The next time you log in to your computer, this will happen automatically.
If you are using a personal computer:
- In an internet browser, go to https://sfcm.us.uniflowonline.com/#StartPrinting/
- If prompted to log in, click Continue with Entra ID and log in with your SFCM email.
- Under the section Install printer driver, download and install the appropriate driver for your computer.
- Open the installed application and log in with your SFCM ID one more time to complete set up.
Once Uniflow Online has been set up on your computer:
1. Open your document and print as your normally do.
2. Choose SFCM Online Printing as the print destination in your computer's print dialogue.
3. Badge into the printer and select Secure Print to retrieve your print jobs.
There are two additional ways to print to the new system.
You can use these options if you prefer them or if you are away from your normal computer and unable to install the printer driver.
Option 1: Drag and Drop File
1. In an internet browser, go to https://sfcm.us.uniflowonline.com/#StartPrinting/
2. If it asks you to log in, Click on Continue with Entra ID and log in with your SFCM email
3. Drag your file(s) into the drag-and-drop area.
4. Badge into the printer and select Secure Print to retrieve your print jobs.
Option 2: Send File via email
- Email the file to mobileprint@sfcm.us.uniflowonline.com
- Badge into the printer and select Secure Print to see your print jobs.
- If necessary, use the Edit button to adjust print settings (such as 2-sided, # of copies, etc.)
